Responsible for setting up the ultrasound
lab at MINAR in 1983, Dr. Sabih
is involved in clinical ultrasound,
training and research. He has over
30 publications to his credit and
two books. Dr. Sabih is also a consultant
for ultrasound for the Pakistan
Atomic Energy Commission. Dr. Durr-e-Sabih
has a strong interest in ultrasound
training and has written a book
on the technique. A second edition
of the book is currently under preparation;
he also owns an ultrasound discussion
group on the Internet that has about
300 ultrasound specialists from
all over the world. There is thus
an extended international source
of ultrasound images for patients
that might not be locally available.
